Bramhall Golf Club was founded in 1905 with nine holes, and was extended to 18 holes shortly after. It is one of the most beautiful parkland courses in Cheshire and measures 6,347 yards par 70 for Gentlemen and 5,689 yards par 73 for Ladies. The course provides a fine test of golf for the low handicapper but does not prove too punishing for the majority.
The high standard of the course is reflected in the fact that the Club regularly hosts County and Regional Fixtures, and has also had the honour of staging National Golf Events, including the European Ladies Matchplay Championship.
